Inga Āboliņa leaves the Management Board of Sadales tīkls AS

Inga Āboliņa, the member of the Management Board of Sadales tīkls AS, terminates her duties as a member of the Management Board of Sadales tīkls AS to accept new professional challenges. I. Āboliņa has been working at Latvenergo Group in different capacities since 2001 and in the last three years has been a member of the Management Board and a Chief Financial Officer of Sadales tīkls AS. I. Āboliņa will resign on August 16.
I.Āboliņa has been managing the implementation of extensive investment projects of Latvenergo in the Group’s energy generation facilities. In the management of Sadales tīkls AS, I. Āboliņa ensured planning and control of finances of the company, compliance monitoring, as well as contributed in the implementation of the efficiency improvement programme, which was a significant precondition for reducing energy distribution tariffs in Latvia.
I.Āboliņa points out: “During almost 20 years at Latvenergo Group, I had a fantastic opportunity to make my own contribution to the development of the Group and to grow together with it. It is time to pursue new goals now.”
Until the end of the procedure for selection of new members of the Management Board, the Management Board of Sadales tīkls AS will consist of four members as Sandis Jansons (Chairman of the Management Board), Baiba Priedīte, Jānis Kirkovalds and Raimonds Skrebs will continue employment.
An open competition will be announced for the vacant position of the member of the Management Board of Sadales tīkls AS.
Sadales tīkls AS is a largest distribution system operator in Latvia, which is operating independently and ensures supply of electricity to more than one million customer sites, covering with its service 99% of the territory of Latvia. The company ensures the operation, reconstruction and planned development of the distribution networks, monitoring of the use of electricity, loss reduction measures and electricity accounting, as well as the creation of new connections. Operations of Sadales tīkls AS are monitored by the Shareholder’s Meeting, interests of which are represented by Latvenergo AS as the owner of shares of Sadales tīkls AS.
