Latvenergo AS publishes an informative presentation about Latvenergo Group


To provide investors, financial market participants, business partners, and other stakeholders with transparent and concise information about the Group's operations, Latvenergo AS annually prepares and publishes an informative presentation on the Latvenergo Group. The presentation brings together key information on the Group's operations, organizational structure, strategy, business segments, sustainability performance, and financial results. The presentation has been prepared based on the audited results for 2025.

The Medium-Term Operational Strategy of the Group for 2022–2026 aims to increase the share of renewable energy sources (RES) in electricity generation, complementing the existing generation capacity with 600 MW of new wind and solar power plants capacities. At the end of 2025, newly constructed RES capacities in the Baltics already totalled 498 MW, while solar and wind power plants under development had a combined capacity of 646 MW.

In 2025, the Latvenergo Group invested a total of EUR 792 million, including EUR 548 million in the development of wind and solar generation capacity. Last year, Latvenergo AS carried out its first European green bond issue in the amount of EUR 400 million.

In 2025, the Group generated 24% of the total electricity produced in the Baltics, with 66% of its electricity generated from RES. At the end of 2025, Latvenergo Group had more than 914 thousand customers in the Baltic states, including more than 306 thousand customers outside Latvia. The number of natural gas customers in the Baltic states exceeded 76 thousand. At the end of 2025, the number of charging ports installed by Elektrum Drive had reached 1,107. Together with partner networks, a total of 1,590 charging ports were available to customers across the Baltics.

In 2025, the Latvenergo Group's revenue amounted to EUR 1,566.1 million, while profit reached EUR 198.8 million.

Latvenergo AS received a score of 54 points in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment, placing it among the top 30% of companies in the Electric Utilities sector worldwide. For the introduction of an artificial intelligence assistant into the company's Electronic Procurement and Qualification System, Latvenergo AS received the Platinum Mouse award in the Company Digital Transformation category for large companies. Latvenergo AS is rated the second most valuable company in Latvia in the TOP 101 most valuable companies in Latvia.
