New Members of the Management Board start working at the Management Board of Sadales tīkls AS


Today, 27th March, the Meeting of Shareholders of Sadales tīkls AS elected new Members of the Management Board of the company who will start working on the 3rd April, the term of office is set to 5 years.

Sandis Jansons was appointed as the Chairman of the Management Board of Sadales tīkls AS, Jānis Kirkovalds was elected as the Member of the Management Board, Baiba Priedīte, Inga Āboliņa and Raimonds Skrebs, the current Members of the Management Board, will continue their work.

Sandis Jansons was selected for employment in the Management Board of Sadales tīkls AS in the result of a public open selection competition, he was appointed to the position of the Chairman of the Management Board by the Meeting of Shareholders. Sandis Jansons has completed education of business management at the University of Latvia and has obtained the EMBA degree at Stockholm School of Economics in Riga. During the last 10 years he has worked for Rīgas Dzirnavnieks AS (LANTMANNEN) as the Director General and Member of the Management Board; SBE Latvija SIA(LANTMANNEN) as the Member of the Management Board; Magnum medical SIA as the Chief Executive Officer and  LM Center SIA being its owner.

Jānis Kirkovalds was also selected in the result of a public open selection competition. Jānis Kirkovalds has completed education at Riga Technical University, he has the Bachelor Degree in power engineering and the qualification of the Power Engineer in the speciality of power supply. J.Kirkovalds has valuable work experience in Latvenergo Group where he has worked since 1994. The work experience during the last ten years is related to the position of the Member of the Management Board of Augstsprieguma tīkls AS, followed by positions of the Member of the Management Board and Director of Development at Latvijas elektriskie tīkli AS by securing successful implementation of strategic transmission investment projects.

Sadales tīkls AS is a subsidiary of Latvenergo AS, which maintains and develops Latvian power network, ensuring supply of electricity to more than one million customer facilities, covering 99% of the territory of Latvia.
