On Friday, 14 October, the Latvian Corporate Governance Advisory Board awarded Latvenergo AS as the best in the category "Stakeholder Engagement Practitioner" for ensuring quality cooperation with stakeholders.

This is the second year that the Corporate Governance Award has been presented to companies. It recognises the best practices in Latvia and acknowledges companies' efforts to implement good governance standards and the Latvian Corporate Governance Code.

This year, the Corporate Governance Advisory Board awarded the prize in three nominations, and the award ceremony took place on 14 October, at the conclusion of the 20th anniversary conference of the Commercial Law, "An honest and careful manager in times of great turmoil".
